Attn Comic Fans!

Okay, my dad is helping me set up a little online store just to maybe bring in a small bit of ??? and I'm trying to get a feel for what the most popular comics are, so what do you buy every month that you would reccomend? Thanks for the help.

To start, I'm a Marvel Zombie from way back-
"Cosmic" Marvel is my favorite (Silver Surfer, Thanos etc) followed by the core Avengers titles (Capt. America, Thor, Hulk etc.)

From DC I'm a big JSA fan (and related titles)-I also pick up JLA & Teen Titans.

Some of the best book out now (imo) come out of the Dark Horse Horror lines as well as the "horror" comics from IDW and from Image- Rex Mundi

I also pick up anything outta Big Bang

Still chugging along with Spawn, The Savage Dragon & most Top Cow books, too-

and I get a kick out of Gemstone's Disney stuff

[Galactus the Planet Eater]

Was a big time comic book reader many years back, and have kept many (have all th original Silver surfer, Spiderman back to #7 or so). Big Jack Kirby fan. What stuff I buy with my son or what I think is real good is:

Ultimate Avengers (best drawn comic)
Ultimate Spiderman (some real good stories)
Anything by Jim Lee.
Top Cow: Tomb raider (best illustrated women)
Ultimate X-men - stiry is way out there, but illustrations are first rate.
The Batman Hush series - landmark.

Do you get Wizard magazine? That sums up whats going on in the comic world quite nicely - lots of pics.
